By local rule of the Butler County Domestic Relations Court (DR1(G)), the following pleadings and filings shall be submitted to the Domestic Relations Court Case Management Office for review before filing with the Butler County Clerk of Courts.

- Complaints for Parentage
- Agreed Entries
- Decrees for Annulment, Divorce, Legal Separation, Shared Parenting and Dissolution
- Petitions for Dissolution
- Separation Agreements
- Shared Parenting Plans
- Withdrawal of Counsel
Submission to the Case Management Office is not a filing of the legal action. The Case Management Office approves pleadings that comply as to form and content with Title III of the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, and local rules of the Butler County Domestic Relations Court. The Case Management Office assists the public and legal professionals by assuring the quality of documents processed by the court and increases the efficiency of court operations. This office provides the public and legal community with answers to procedural questions and supplies various forms to parties wishing to file documents.
The Case Management Office is also responsible for setting cases on all hearing officers' dockets. To request or confirm a hearing date, please call the Case Management staff at (513) 887-3100, select ext. 2. From Middletown (513) 424-5351, ask for ext. 3100, select ext. 2.
Pursuant to local rule (DR16), documents set forth in DR1(G) to be filed by fax with the Clerk of Courts shall first be submitted to the Domestic Relations Court Case Management Office at fax number (513) 785-5337. All faxed submissions shall be considered filed with the Clerk of Courts as of the date and time stamped by the Clerk of Court's Office.
